Ms. Ann Hewett started learning embroidery, quilting and cooking at the age of 6 through her mother and grandmother's guidance. Ms. Ann has lived in Harlem for over 50 years, married to her husband for 56 years and have three children, six grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Ms. Ann expresses her love for God and her country in her art.
By the end of these two classes you will have created a beautiful hand quilted piece. Ann has been teaching hand quilting for years and will provide all the materials needed to create your own quilt (cloth, batting, thread, needles, thimbles, etc).
Adult ages 18 and older, from beginners to experienced are welcomed.

Be aware that there are two buttons to register. One is to send the registration form to the Harlem Arts Council. The second button is to pay for the class via Convergepay (a subsidiary of Regions Bank). No credit card information will be retained, or indeed received, by the Harlem Arts Council. One form registration form will be required for each student.
